By becoming a member you show you care about your neighborhood. It really is up to the residents and businesses of this community to step up and make a difference in where we live and call home. Sitting back and complaining about what you don't like won't solve any problems, but joining with like-minded neighbors who want to see change is a step in the right direction toward making things better.

The Schoolcraft Improvement Association is about making good things happen and creating a positive and safe environment. We stay active by hosting several events throughout the year. The Pancake Breakfast in February and the Community Bazaar in August are two favorites where members come out to mix, mingle and have a good time. We encourage residents to participate in the Motor City Makeover cleanup effort to keep out surroundings clean. It's events like these and the people who make up our great membership that make our neighborhood a nice place to live.

When you join you will receive a membership card to show you are a member. Membership dues are $5 a year per household. Just simply come to our next monthly meeting, which is held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Dossin Elementary School on Glendale between Abington and Grandmont @ 6:30 p.m. Enjoy free refreshments, sit back, listen to what's happening, join in the discussion and have a good time getting to know your neighbors.
